Welcome

If you’re a Christian woman looking for peace and purpose in your life, you’re in the right place

You don’t know how your life has gotten to this point. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. You had hopes and dreams and used to feel light-hearted. Now you can’t remember the last time you felt relaxed and had a good laugh.

You’re irritable, frustrated, and impatient, snapping at those you love. Then the guilt sets in.

Fear and self-doubt has held you back from going after the life you hope for, and you just don’t know how to gain the confidence to make changes. You're busy doing what you think people expect, feeling like you're spinning your wheels and going nowhere. It's exhausting.

You’re losing hope that things can get better. Life has been harder than you imagined, and you wonder where God is in all of this.

You want to live for God and grow in your relationship with Him, but it seems like He is not doing anything. So, you take matters into your own hands, doing things your way, but that doesn’t seem to work out either.

Everything feels hard. You’re tired, depressed, anxious, struggling with guilt and shame. You don’t know what your next step should be.

Imagine waking up in the morning feeling calm...

You spend a little time with God and make a simple healthy breakfast before the day starts. You think of your full day ahead with gratitude, feeling confident and knowing that you’ll be spending your time doing the things that matter most.

Your circumstances haven't changed much, but you sure have.

Instead of scrolling, you've been using your phone to call or text friends and family. Rather than worrying about getting to the next thing on your list, you've been present and able to give attention to the people and tasks in front of you. You've been able to slow things down, be more patient with others, looking at them, listening to them, and actually enjoying your time with them. You've even spent time doing some things just for fun over the past couple of weeks.

You have peace in knowing that it's not all up to you. You are now able to simply love the people around you rather than trying to live up to your perceived expectations. You've found freedom in setting healthy boundaries for both yourself and with others. You're forming deeper relationships because you are showing up authentically rather than worrying about what people think of you.

You feel a twinge of nervous excitement as you think about that dream you're finally taking steps toward. You've let go of the idea of perfection and having it all figured out. You're simply taking each next step forward in faith to see how and where God leads you on this journey he's put on your heart.

You say a prayer for those things you’ve been praying for, holding them loosely with hopeful expectation, trusting that God is working things out for good, even when you can’t see it. You remember how He brought you this far as you step into your day with a calm sense of joy.

How I can help

As a Christian counselor, I work with women experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, divorce, strained relationships, and other life stressors.

As your counselor, I will work with you to help you learn the skills to live in the peace, confidence, and joy you have in Christ.

Together, we will use an integrative approach, including thought patterns, emotional regulation, sleep, nutrition, faith, and other lifestyle factors relevant to your unique situation. You will learn to approach life with a fresh perspective and gain the tools needed for life-long success.

As I work toward my clinical license, I consult with other licensed professionals to provide effective, research-based therapeutic interventions that I combine with proven approaches to biblically-based counseling.

My credentials and trainings include:

- MSW & Licensed Social Worker in PA

- Certificates in Rational Living Therapy and Biblical Counseling

- Certification in Nutritional and Integrative Practices for Mental Health Disorders
